The Henry County
Health Center offers nutrition education not only to participants in the WIC Program, but also to members of the community. Anyone
in the community is welcome to contact a Nutritionist at the WIC office who is available to answer nutrition related
questions, or provide inservices to local groups who need information on a nutrition related topic. Breastfeeding
is always recommended by the WIC Program. Anyone wanting more information about Breastfeeding can receive personalized
education by the Breastfeeding PEER COUNSELOR under the direction of the Breastfeeding coordinator. See
link below for more informtion about WIC's breastfeeding goals and resources. A nutrition helpline
is available for those with questions. You can call toll-free at 1-866-885-7997 or 885-8195. If you prefer to talk
